Fast Speeds Slow Shutter

The daredevil in me awoke concluding nite.Had a monthly photo competition submission due today so last nite had Leyla drop me at the side of the most unsafe road known to the average Malaysian man.Tripod in given, my trusty Nikon D50 strapped around my neck along with the all new 18-200mm VR lens attached, I said a prayer and dashed to the middle of the highway.Felt a queesiness in my throat, the kind when you think that something could go wrong. But it didn’t.The old heavy Velbon wasn’t helping and some cars blew their horns as I frantically tried to set things up. Luckily I had already setup my camera settings in the car.Glanced over at Leyla who was park at the side, a fretted in her eyes.Composed my view, aperture priority at f/22 and I took the shot…Perfect. Update : I won the photo contest!
